1) pick up a sensor and receiver at a sporting goods store. 2) set up an account at www.nikeplus.com 3) If you have Nike shoes there is a section in the bottom of the shoe for the sensor, otherwise you can get a little pouch to hold the sensor on your shoe 4) Go to a track and calibrate your sensor to your average pace.
